as of last week my mom and dad and me got in a fight b/c they think we might as well give up our kids b/c we are struggling, so we are now staying at our mother in laws with my husband which we are not suppose to technically do b/c she is on hud and lives ina 2 bdrm. we have signed up on hud and transitional housing we are looking for jobs and so far just isnt getting us anywhere, our income is going to be running out b/c the first 3's dad doesnt want to work to take care of him and his unemployment is running out. we have ads up on craigslist. we are willing to live in a pull behind camper just so the kids have a place. my mother in laws done been told if someone turns it in again that we are staying with her then she will be off hud to and her income is as limited as ours. my husband is seeling his vehicle just to make some money, so we just have mine that has high mileage. my husband just go notified that where we were living with his cousin that he had a review for the fire dept. but by the time we just got told today the reviews our over and he has to wait til next march to reapply. so we are ust hoping that something will change, we take care of our kids and our honest people so just dont know why we are having so much luck.
well the kids and i are still staying with my mom and dad, but got some bad news that my husband will be unable to stay with his mom after this month due to her moving into a smaller place, so he will be officially homeless. we are trying to find jobs and a place to stay but without barely any income it is hard to do. we try to keep our heads up high for our kids sake, but we really dont know where we will be from day to day. family keeps saying they will help but seems like that is just a phrase anymore b/c they change their minds to much. we get foodstamps and mediciaid for kids which help somewhat, but it doesnt help that they expect you to be working before helping with childcare so it makes it harder with 6 kids it would be pointless to work b/c everyone has to make their money so childcare is kinda high priced. if we all come completely homeless welfare wont even help with food for our kids and where we are food pantries basically shrub you off like you are a nobody. i went to college to get a better education, my husband finished hs and got a cdl and basically all that got us was more debt then any better jobs.

my husband and our 6 kids have been homeless for over a year we have stayed with family memebers here and there, have stayed in our vehicle and stayed in a motel. we have no money left we are waiting on a few jobs to call to sere if we can get any luck with one. but of course that isnt always guaranteed. the kids have moved from school to school sad to say we dont know where we will be from day to day, we try to keep a positive attitude but that can only go so far.we have put out ads on craigslist looking for work and or a place to live in return for work,we were on hud but unfortunately my husband had taken a cat in off the street by his place and so he got evicted instead of a warning and now he cant be on for 3 years and we rather not be split apart we have been together for 6 years, he took my first 3 kids in as his own after a 3 yr emotionally and physucally abusive relationship. i went back to college and got my associates but w/o experience hard to get that kind of job, so instead i got myself in to more debt. we moved to kansas city trying to better our luck and instead just made it worse our life is in storage up there and we have no way of getting it back down here. our kids are all under the age of 8 so it is hard on them having to deal with this as a parent noone wants for their kid/s to experience this. we are just looking for somewhere to live with our kids and a job that will pay the bills so we know the kids will have food on the table, clean clothes, and a roof over our kids head we have to work different shifts if we get a job due to childcare costing to much for 6 kids. we will update as often as we can as we go through this journey in our life, hoping and praying it will change. thanks and god bless. if you may know where we can get help we appreciate it, we live in missouri
